Dude, the best thing you can do when buying a Yamaha or any motorcycle, is to see who is having deals going on. I bought a KTM last year, and just by going HERE, I saved $300.00. A yamaha motorcycles cost are lower than a lot of their copetitors prices. The Yamaha also has just as much, if not better horsepower and features as their copetition. This could be the reason why more and more motorcycle riders are turning to yamaha. Parts for yamahas are very easy to find as well. And the Yamaha motorcycles cost for parts are lower than most of all their competition. I am considering trading in my KTM for a yamaha for all of the reasons I just mentioned. It just doesn't make sence paying more for parts that usually have to be ordered.
